Erik Buell Racing has released the third episode of its series about the new 1190RS sportbike. The latest episode focuses on the company’s “Made in America” philosophy, with its goal of producing a high-performance superbike in the U.S.A. As Erik Buell, racer Geoff May and designer Tony Stefanelli discuss the themes of innovation and freedom, we can’t help but wonder however whether they’re talking about American ideals, or about being out from Harley-Davidson’s umbrella.

That’s right, you can win the Harley-Davidson Cross Bones motorcycle that the classic heavy metal band is currently using on stage in their 2009 U.S. Summer Tour.  To mark the 30th anniversary of British Steel , the band will play the entire album live for the first time ever.  The custom bike will have the Judas Priest logo, British Steel graphics and will be signed by the band at the end for the tour for the lucky person who can win it. Harley-Davidson Adds Twin Cam 96 and 103 Engines to Factory Remanufacturing Program

Harley-Davidson has added the Twin Cam 96, Twin Cam 103 and 2003-2006 CVO Twin Cam 103 engines to its engine remanufacturing program. The program, which previously accepted 1984 and newer Evolution 1340, Twin Cam 88, Twin Cam 88B and Twin Cam 95 powerplants, takes used engines, rebuilds and repaints them. Customers can take their existing Harley-Davidson motorcycle to a dealer which will remove the engine and send it back to the factory.
