2011 Harley-Davidson Nightster , I have a 2011 Nightster that has many many accessories to make it a one of a kind bike! I bought this bike two years ago from the Harley Barn here in Des Moines and they put about $1600 in accessories on the bike to start and $400 in powder-coat. Since then I have put another $1000 or so in other accessories on the bike. This bike is definitely a head-turner that's for sure! I paid just under 13,500 for this bike after accessories/Powder-Coat and Labor. The bike is in great shape with only a few lil scuffs/marks here and there and runs like it's brand-new. It has 11k miles on it and has been serviced every 4k. Everything is in incredible shape on this bike! Some of the accessories Include: Stage one Tuner Power Commander Side Speedo Mount (Speedo is placed on the side of bike) Vance&Hines Short Shot Exhaust Custom Grips Custom High-way Pegs (Brass Knuckles) Custom Le Pera Diamond Stitch Seat 10 inch Mini ape Z-bars Screamin Eagle Air-Clener Kit Custom Air Intake Dunlop rear white-wall tire. (Also have original tire) Flush Mount Fuel Cap Relocation kit for front turn signals from the handle bars to the front forks. Licks Solo bag that is custom made for the Sportys. Diamond breaded Brake/Clutch/TI Cables. Licks 10 short shocks on the back. (Which lowered the bike an inch) TONS OF Satin Black and Flat Black Powder Coat! (There are many more accessories but this covers most of the main stuff) Also, I have have a lot of the original parts that were taken off that will come with the bike. Harley Declares Women Riders Month
Tue, 10 Feb 2009Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.
2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout Unveiled at Daytona Bike Week
Fri, 08 Mar 2013In a rare move, Harley-Davidson has unveiled a base version of its Breakout months after first launching the exclusive Custom Vehicle Operations version. Presented at the 2013 Daytona Bike Week, the 2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout offers a similar low and muscular profile as the CVO version but at prices starting at $17,899 compared to the premium model’s $26,999 price point. Tom Roderick reviewed the 2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout last August, saying it “continues the tradition of exclusivity, performance and style customers have come to expect from Harley-Davidson’s Custom Vehicle Operations.” But take away the premium CVO features and what do you have?
