Harley-Davidson Other description

2011 Harley-Davidson FXDF - Dyna Fat Bob, 2011 Harley-Davidson FXDF DYNA (FAT BOB) ... This White Hot Denim Street Bob goes straight back to the minimalist roots of the bobber scene... With forward-mounted foot controls, drag-style handlebar and a sleek, two-up seat, the Harley-Davidson Fat Bob motorcycle creates an aggressive riding position that commands respect from the road. Truly fat from start to finish, the Fat Bob features a 130 mm wide front tire with a gnarly, robust tread pattern, emphasizing the aggressive character of the 'fat custom' ride. Out back, the high-performance, chrome-covered, coil-over shocks showcase the beefy 180 mm wide rear tire and perfectly complement the Fat Bobs outstanding handling attributes.

Harley-Davidson Adds Twin Cam 96 and 103 Engines to Factory Remanufacturing Program

Tue, 17 Jan 2012

Harley-Davidson has added the Twin Cam 96, Twin Cam 103 and 2003-2006 CVO Twin Cam 103 engines to its engine remanufacturing program. The program, which previously accepted 1984 and newer Evolution 1340, Twin Cam 88, Twin Cam 88B and Twin Cam 95 powerplants, takes used engines, rebuilds and repaints them. Customers can take their existing Harley-Davidson motorcycle to a dealer which will remove the engine and send it back to the factory.

Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India

Fri, 18 May 2012

India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.

Watch As Motorcyclist Gets Chased By Elk – Video

Mon, 14 Oct 2013

Apparently, elks aren’t too keen on motorcyclists, as the video below demonstrates. This couple, aboard what sounds like a Harley-Davidson (that potato-potato exhaust note is unmistakeable), were riding along in Missoula, Montana when this elk decided he wanted to take the road for himself. As traffic slowed and eventually passed, the elk took a growing interest in the couple on the motorcycle, approaching them.
