The CVO Street Glide has some of the largest wheels of any Harley touring motorcycle at 19 inches. These wheels have a seven-spoke design with full floating brake rotors. The brakes include a four-piston front and rear caliper with dual front rotor system. The bike also has custom premium paint unlike no other factory custom motorcycle. Backflips on a Harley? [video]
Mon, 07 Dec 2009In late November two motorcycle daredevils from opposite sides of the world were fighting to see who would be the first to backflip a Harley Davidson XR1200 motorcycle. Australia’s Kain Saul reached the Promised Land first when he made a successful jump in Sydney on November 27. Harley-Davidson believes Saul’s jump is the first ever successful backflip for any full size street motorcycle.
Fundraising Harley Prints By 8-year-old MDA Ambassador On Sale
Tue, 10 Sep 2013MDA Ambassador Reagan Imhoff wanted the artwork she created with Harley-Davidson designer Mathew Hintz to “raise a lot of money for MDA so we can have more scientists to make medicines.” The original drawing of a purple Harley-Davidson Softail Breakout motorcycle brought in $3500 on August 31 at the MDA auction during the 110th Anniversary Celebration. The pair hopes to raise even more with sales of the limited edition, signed prints, available through www.HintzStudios.com. “I’m happy our artwork raised some money, and hope we sell all of the prints!” said Reagan, who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a painful neuromuscular disease.
