2012 Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two and Softail Slim Revealed

As expected, Harley-Davidson pulled the wraps off of two new 2012 models, the ’70s-styled Seventy-Two Sportster (pictured above) and the bobber-styled Softail Slim. Motorcycle.com‘s Tom Roderick attended the launch of the two new 2012 Harley-Davidson models and he’ll have a full report. 2013 Harley-Davidson Models Revealed in CARB Documents

The bulk of the 2013 Harley-Davidson model lineup has been revealed in documents released by the California Air Resources Board. While this is a fairly lengthy list of models, it may not be complete as Harley-Davidson sometimes saves a couple of new model announcements for later in the year. Most of the models revealed are returning models but there are a couple of omissions as well as several additions, including new anniversary models celebrating Harley-Davidson’s upcoming 110th anniversary.

Mustang Announces Metal Flake Seat Colors and Display for Sturgis

Just in time for Sturgis, Mustang Seats has release new color options for its custom seats. Designed to match the retro colors on Harley-Davidson’s Hard Candy Custom collection, the vinyl seats have metal flake in six available colors available on Mustang’s Tripper Solo, Tripper Fastback and DayTripper seats. According to Mustang, after the starting its custom seat program last fall, so many customers requested a metal flake option that they had to provide it.
