A SET OF CHROME GRIPS HAVE BEEN ADDED TO THE BIKE. Sat, 27 Jul 2013Reagan Imhoff dreams of a career in art, and the determined 8-year-old and MDA Ambassador won’t let Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type II get in the way of those dreams. Her parents’ New Berlin, WI, home is plastered with hundreds of her drawings, and a painting of hers sold for $5,000 at the MDA Black-N-Blue Ball in May. Local artist and Harley-Davidson designer Mathew Hintz is encouraging her passion.
Harley-Davidson Reveals “Twin-Cooled” Engine with Precision Liquid Cooling
Mon, 19 Aug 2013As we gleaned from recently revealed CARB documents, Harley-Davidson has introduced two new liquid cooled engines. The new engines use a combination of air-cooling and precision liquid cooling, similar to what BMW did with its 2013 R1200GS. One version of the engine, dubbed the Twin-Cooled High Output Twin Cam 103 will be used on the 2014 Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited and the Tri-Glide Ultra trike while the CVO Limited will use a 110ci engine known as the Screamin’ Eagle Twin-Cooled Twin Cam 110.
California Dealer to Produce Limited Edition Sons of Anarchy Harley-Davidson
Wed, 13 Jun 2012Bartels’ Harley-Davidson, a dealership in Marina Del Rey, Calif., has signed a licensing deal to produce a run of limited edition Harley-Davidson motorcycles inspired by the FX drama “Sons of Anarchy“. According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, Bartels will produce 100 units, each priced at about $25,000. The Sons of Anarchy Harley-Davidson models will go on sale in August when they are revealed at the Sturgis rally in South Dakota.
