In a misallocation of funds Harley-Davidson recently spent an untold buttload of money proving something men have known for years: That women who ride motorcycles are sexier and better between the sheets than women who don’t ride. Common responses from male motorcyclists to the press release were: Duh; Tell me something I didn’t already know; Can I be a recruiter? Meant to entice non-riding females into the Harley-Davidson army by pimping the Bar & Shield’s website, www.h-d.com/women, the press release was peppered with effeminate catchphrases such as “physical intimacy, “communication,” and “improves relationships” but the basal message is one of female motorcyclists being sexier, happier and more confident than their non-riding counterparts.

For a limited time, a Harley-Davidson dealer in St. Louis will be shelling out five shares of HD stock with every motorcycle purchase or will give you stock if you bring in a friend to purchase a bike. A new display in the Harley-Davidson museum in Milwaukee is set to open at the end of this week exhibiting the artwork of the firm's styling chief Willie G Davidson. As well as being the grandson of the original 'Davidson' and in charge of all Harley's styling, it turns out that Willie G is a dab hand with a paintbrush. According to Harley-Davidson, the display will include “idyllic rural landscapes and still life watercolour paintings with strong luminosity and form that hint at time spent in the countryside during 48 years as the pacesetter in motorcycle design.” The firm's museum has also announced other special exhibits planned for later in the year, including “Journey of the Iron Elite: The Evolution of Motorcycle Culture through the Eyes of African-Americans” and “Born to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket” - a 4000-square-foot display dedicated purely to black biker jackets...
