This is the best handling Harley from the showroom floor... its comfortable, have powerful brakes (nissin), 17' wheel, showa inverted forks, aluminum swing arm... The Sportster 1200 motor is "Buell inspired", high compression, bigger valves, and has 30% more power than the stock engine... Everything to make this bike a great sporty roadster. I did the following modifications: -seat raised 1 inch for comfort and look -lower front end for better handling (fork tubes up 1 inch).. -engine cases and swing arm blacked out, look OEM -lower bars (have 1 other set) -black anodized and adjustable levers -aftermarket flush black anodized black key less gas cap -FMF titanium custom exhaust -full service -new clutch cable -Avon grips -Adjustable levers -new front tire -new rear tire -new inspection -led orange lights -Custom aluminum skid plate -new front and rear tires -Just serviced This bike is a dream to ride on back roads and super stable on highway. Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame Announces 2013 Induction Class
Wed, 27 Feb 2013The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame announced it will induct five new members for 2013. The Hall also announced it will add one new member to its Freedom Fighters Hall of Fame. For 2013, the Hall will welcome to its ranks motorcycle attorney Russ Brown, custom chopper builder Rick Fairless (pictured above), Harley-Davidson dealer Bill Gikling, actor Marjoe Gortner of the television special “Sturgis: The Great Ride”, and antique motorcycle expert Lonnie Isam, Sr.
Harley Recalls 25,000 2014 Touring Models
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Harley-Davidson is acting quickly to address potential safety issues by voluntarily recalling certain 2014 Touring motorcycles equipped with a hydraulic clutch system that may pose a safety issue for riders and/or passengers. The recalls include a Do Not Ride notice to owners and a Do Not Deliver notice to Harley-Davidson dealers until the motorcycle is fixed. “The safety of our customers is our highest priority,” said Tony Wilcox, Harley-Davidson General Manager of Motorcycle New Product Delivery.
What am I gonna do with a gun rack?
Wed, 27 Jul 2011Living in Shoreditch I come across a unique variety of motorcycles on the road; from XS650s, to classic Lambrettas and one completely brown jelly-mould CBR600. My favourite of the regular bikes I see is this Harley-Davidson badged Armstrong MT500. In my head I like to think that the owner operates as an urban vigilante, realistically whoever rides this ex-Army bike is probably an artist and instead of a weapon in the gun holder it's probably art equipment.
