With a chunky 130 mm front tire and dual headlamps framed in thick, 49 mm fork legs, the original Fat Bob took Dyna styling in a new direction when it first appeared in 2008. For 2009, the CVO group gives the Fat Bob the CVO treatment bold paint, brilliant chrome and a monster motor to create a premium custom motorcycle loaded with exclusive features. New 16-inch Fang wheels debut on the CVO Fat Bob. These cast-aluminum wheels feature a black powdercoated slotted center that contrasts with a chrome rim flange with bolt-on fang inserts clawing over each slot. The brake discs and sprockets are styled to complement the wheels. The front wheel carries a 130 mm tire with a distinctive, blocky tread pattern. On the rear is a 180 mm tire. Premium suspension includes lowered front forks and chromed rear shocks that have been re-tuned for enhanced ride comfort.

Japanese Bike Shop Giving Away Harley-Davidson with Life-Sized Anime Character
Mon, 15 Apr 2013Japanese shop Bike-O is holding a draw with a rather unique grand prize: a used 2008 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide with a life-sized figure of anime character Fujiko Mine from the long-running anime and manga series “Lupin III“. We’re not sure whether the motorcycle or the statue is supposed to be the bigger prize here, to be honest. Obviously, we’d rather have an actual road-worthy Harley-Davidson Electra Glide with a custom “champagne pink” paint job.
Harley-Davidson Reports Q3 2012 Results
Tue, 23 Oct 2012Harley-Davidson reported a profit of $134.0 million dollars over the third quarter of 2012. That represents a 27% decrease from the net profit of $183.6 million reported over the same quarter of 2011, but the drop was an expected result from a planned decrease in third quarter shipments as Harley-Davidson adopts an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) manufacturing system at its York, Pa., factory. 2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase
Tue, 05 Feb 2013The Motorcycle Industry Council reported a 2.6% increase in motorcycle sales in the U.S. market for 2012. According to the industry group’s figures, American consumers purchased 452,386 motorcycles in 2012 compared to 440,899 motorcycles in 2011.
