2009 Harley-Davidson FLTRSE3 CVO Road Glide, Showroom New. Another Great Pre-Owned CVO. 877-251-2453 - Rinehart Pipes, Custom Windshield, New Tire and Extended Warranty Available. Full capacity for the open highway with an unabashed thirst for twisty back roads, the CVO Road Glide model keeps the horizon in focus, knowing where it came from. This versatile motorcycle is equally at ease roaming from roadhouses to boardwalks, or cruising the boulevard. The Road Glide has undergone the CVO makeover twice before, notably in 2000, when it flaunted Screamin Eagle heads on its VR Racing Orange fairing. That iconic design is echoed discreetly on the new CVO Road Glide with a more subtle Screamin Eagle on the fairing, accompanied by ghosted flamed feathers in the accent stripe on the fairing, tank, side covers and bags. For 2009 the CVO Road Glide also benefits from the new chassis that underpins all 2009 Harley-Davidson touring models, based on a redesigned frame and swingarm intended to improve maneuverability. In this application, the 110-inch V-twin produces 115 pound-feet of torque at 4000 rpm (different induction and exhaust packaging varies the big twins performance in different models). The fuel-injection system incorporates electronic throttle control, and the clutch is a self-adjusting hydraulic unit. A Sportster-style air-filter cover exposes a Stage 1 Screamin Eagle element, and a new 2-into-1-into-2 exhaust system with a one-piece front exhaust shield is fitted. Over the only 18-inch wheel in the range (a chrome forged aluminum design known as the Blade), CVO has dropped the front fender about three-quarters of an inch. It also added composite skirts to the saddlebag bottoms to wrap over the exhaust outlets, and filler strips between the saddlebag and rear fender, on which are mounted LED stop/turn/tail lights.

Off-Road Motorcycle and Free-Ride Bicycle Compared

Thu, 11 Dec 2008

What if anything do bicycles and motorcycles have in common? Besides the whole two-wheel thing, it isn’t outright apparent that these two “handle-barred beasts” share more than ancient ancestry. Modern Off-road motorcycle and Free-ride bicycle designs side-by-side illustrate how much technology the two have in common.

2022 Harley-Davidson Road Glide ST and Street Glide ST First Look

Wed, 26 Jan 2022

ST models offer CVO-level performance Taking inspiration from its championship-winning King of the Baggers factory race bikes, Harley-Davidson introduces new, performance-focused ST versions of the Road Glide and Street Glide. Like Kyle Wyman’s King of the Baggers Road Glide Special racer, the Road Glide ST and Street Glide ST have been upgraded with some Screamin’ Eagle Performance Parts upgrades. Harley didn’t go so far as to install the same Screamin’ Eagle 131ci crate engine, but the new ST models do come with the Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin with a high-flow intake, high-performance camshaft and a new exhaust to deliver the same level of performance as its CVO models.
