2009 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide ULTRA CLASSIC FLHTCUI, Bike is like new with only 3,038 miles and tons of options. My job and travel have precluded us from enjoying this beauty like we had planned and it's just not right to let such a fine machine sit idle. I have a climate controlled shop we keep it in and it shows absolutely no wear. The numerous options were dealer installed at purchase and include stage 2 high performance 103 upgrade, star pattern chrome fins on the jugs, vance and hines exhaust, full chrome controls, fork lowers, foot controls and many other decorative items. I wanted the screaming eagle, but none were available, so we installed the color matched inner fairing with new screaming eagle gauges. The cockpit is truly awesome. Total initial upgrades totaled 10,235.12 for a drive out deal at 33,334.00 before tax and title. I have added a few more trim pieces and have four windshields. My loss is your gain. The Greatest Escape is scheduled for Sunday, August 3, 2014 and will begin with a beautiful ride from Bartels’ Harley-Davidson, 4141 Lincoln Blvd., Marina Del Rey, CA along the Pacific Coast Highway with stunning views of the ocean to the rustic and historic Paramount Ranch, Cornell Road, Agoura Hills, CA. Join Perry King for what will be a wonderful day ending with a concert and BBQ lunch on the ranch. The Greatest Escape, 2014 will include a BBQ lunch by J Wolf BBQ and a concert by The Walking Phoenixes, a Johnny Cash tribute band. Bobby Petrino’s Harley-Davidson Available for Auction – Comes With Baggage
Wed, 09 May 2012A 2007 Harley-Davidson Road King Classic reportedly belonging to former University of Arkansas football coach Bobby Petrino is up for auction. Listed as salvage title, the Harley-Davidson is painted in the school’s colors and features a razorback boar – Arkansas’ mascot – painted on the fuel tank with the words “Hawg Wild”. Sports blog ArkansasaSports360.com reported it can confirm the bike was the one Petrino crashed April 1.
US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
