1997 Harley-Davidson Wide Glide , For sale is a 1997 Harley Davidson FXDWG. I am the second owner of the bike and have had it since 2002. It has 8,400 miles on it. This gorgeous Harley has had the best of care and dealer maintained since new. It is a totally custom bike! Everything has been chromed or polished! Over $45,000 has been invested in this heart pounding sensational riding custom cruiser (I have the receipts to prove it). I have the original sales receipt and brochure from 1997. I have all of the receipts from every service done as well as all of the custom parts put on. There are over 100 items that have been upgraded or customized for this bike but I will list a few of the main ones. * S&S polished heads, 80" hot set up, bored barrels * HDI D16 Ignition system dual spark coil * Straight pipes * HDR JKT shifter * Allen Ness tachometer * Front and rear floating brake rotors, calipers, and braided lines * Chrome swing arm * Lowered front and rear * Dyna shocks * Chrome rims * Newer tires * Chrome headlight * Mikuni TM45 polished carburetor * Carlini torque arm * Ness radius push rods * Chrome radius lifter blocks * EV 59 camshaft * Roller rocker arms I have two seats available for this the leather Corbin double (pictured) and a leather Corbin single. I also have a small fairing with chrome mounts available for those longer rides. I will also include a custom cover to keep on it when in the garage. The totally custom paint on this cruiser came from a Morales Paint and body shop out of Tyler Texas, that cost in excess of $6,000. Additionally, Orlando Harley-Davidson becomes the newest exhibitor to join AIMExpo, which will host nearly 500 powersports companies from around the world October 16-19 at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). The presence of the Harley-Davidson brand at AIMExpo for the first time adds to the growing excitement surrounding the 2014 event, now less than a month away.
Harley-Davidson Reports Q3 2011 Results
Tue, 18 Oct 2011As expected, Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $183.6 million over the third quarter ended Sept. 25, 2011, a 106% increase from the $88.8 million reported in the same quarter of 2010. Harley-Davidson reported sales revenue of $1.23 billion, a 13.4% increase from the $1.09 billion reported in the same quarter of 2010.
