Five Takeaways from Harley-Davidson's Q4 2022 Results

Del Mar delays, Project Fuel and the X350RA Harley-Davidson presented its fourth quarter 2022 financial results, and the results were generally strong, but not without a few hiccups. The quarter was strong, compared to the previous year, with revenues ($1.14 billion vs $1.02 billion), operating income (profit of $4 million vs loss of $7 million) diluted earnings per share ($0.28 versus $0.14) showing increases in 2022. For the year, Harley-Davidson reported revenues of $5.76 billion compared to $5.34 billion in 2021, and an operating income of $909 million compared to $823 million in the previous year.

Harley’s Behind the Scenes at The Art of Rebellion

On February 7th, 2009, at the Robert Berman Gallery in Santa Monica’s Bergamot Station Arts Center, Harley-Davidson gathered 11 of today’s most relevant and exciting artists to present their take on the theme of rebellion. Because the event was so popular, The Art of Rebellion one-night only event quickly became a month long showing. Next year’s Sturgis Buffalo Chip will once again feature the Student Build Challenge. The bike build project is a collaboration between the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, Sturgis Brown High School, Black Hills Harley-Davidson, Terry Components, Dakota V-Twin and a large group of industry-leading parts sponsors. The program provides the opportunity for Sturgis Brown High School students to learn from leading motorcycle industry professionals in order to create a one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle from a stock Harley-Davidson.
