The look is pure hard tail custom. The new Rockertail suspension features a fender suspended right over the rear tire with no visible supports. New stop-turn-tail lights keep the rear end uncluttered. You’ve got a new cast aluminum take on our venerable horseshoe oil tank. Ghost flames on the paint. Chrome on the exposed steel. You could look forever, but then you’d miss the main attraction. We used our experience in chassis dynamics to bring a premium ride to the radical long custom. Add in the Softail family’s trademark hidden suspension and counterbalanced Twin Cam 96B engine. It’s the reason why highways are endless.

Harley-Davidson to Assemble More Models in India
Mon, 04 Mar 2013Harley-Davidson is expanding its assembly operations in India, increasing the number of models imported as complete knockdown kits to nine. Harley-Davidson will now assemble the Fat Boy, Fat Boy Special and Heritage Softail Classic in India, joining six models already being assembled in India. The move follows India’s new budget which increases import duties on motorcycles with engines larger than 800cc to 75% from the previous rate of 60%.
Harley-Davidson Ring Saved from a Filthy Fate
Wed, 07 Sep 2011Here’s a story that might seem humorous at first but turns out to be a testament to a man’s love of motorcycling and the memories of a fallen friend. Ed Spalding of Terrace, British Columbia, Canada, and his close friend Roger Bourgoin bought Harley-Davidson motorcycles in 1991. To celebrate their purchases, the two also bought a pair of gold rings.

Harley does however really seem to reinforce the stereotype of a typical Harley rider, I’m not sure if I am cool enough but the new Sportster Forty-Eight looks great!
