2008 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide ULTRA CLASSIC FLHTCUI, 105th Anniversary Firefighters Special Edition. I am the original owner. Ordered it myself and just haven't had time to ride due to deployments, work, kids, etc. Fire engine red, with hand painted gold pinstripes. Vance and Hines stage 1 kit (fuel manager, high flow air filter and mufflers). Added highway pegs and heat deflectors. Never been wrecked, or laid over. Garage kept. Low mileage is due to several deployments. The bike is in great condition. Super low miles. 5,000 mile service already performed and new battery installed in Sep 2012. Harley-Davdison Museum Opens Tsunami Motorcycle Exhibit
Wed, 24 Oct 2012From Miyagi Prefecture in Japan to Graham Island in British Columbia, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wis., the motorcycle tossed across the Pacific Ocean by the 2011 Japanese tsunami has landed at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train owned by earthquake and tsunami survivor Ikuo Yokoyama is now on display at the museum as a memorial to those affected by the March 2011 tsunami. The motorcycle will be preserved in the condition it was in when Canadian beachcomber Peter Mark found it inside a cargo box that washed up on Graham Island in May.
Detroit Police Department Restores 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead
Fri, 13 Dec 2013The Detroit Police Department revealed a restored a 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead police bike that was found during the move to its new headquarters. The 76-year-old police motorcycle was found disassembled at the old headquarters after several decades in storage. According to MLive, the police department attempted to restore the motorcycle in 1974 but never got around to completing it.
