2007 Harley-Davidson XL1200R, This is one of the cleanest Sportster 1200's we have seen and nicely done in a two-tone Black and Cream. The low miles and great condition only add to the value. There are great aftermarket goodies such as the Power Commander tuned fuel management that go along with the Supertrapp exhaust. The turn indicators, plate relocation kit, mirrors and brushed aluminum trim pieces make this a killer. The upgraded Progressive suspension doesn't hurt this fine machine either and the rear turn indicators double as running and brake lights. All the stock parts will go with the bike as well stock mirrors, turn indicators, rear suspension, exhaust and tail light among other things in the box. Our safety inspection is pending along with an oil and filter change. The only fault we could see is the rear wheel has some pitting which we have seen in other XL's. 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Lineup Updated with Project Rushmore Enhancements
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson announced a number of updates to its touring models, a cumulative result of a product development effort the company dubs Project Rushmore. The enhancements cover several areas, addressing performance, comfort, style and infotainment needs, and will be implemented across eight 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring models: the Road King, Street Glide, Street Glide Special, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Electra Glide Ultra Limited, the Tri-Glide Ultra Classic trike and the CVO Road King and CVO Limited. “Project RUSHMORE has been touched by thousands of people, most of them being our customers and our employees,” says Scott Habegger, Harley-Davidson Director of Motorcycle Planning.

Harley-Davidson's Production Stoppage Was Caused by Non-compliant Brake Lines
Fri, 29 Jul 2022Production ramps up to meet year-end targets Back in May, Harley-Davidson announced it would temporarily halt motorcycle production due to a “regulatory compliance matter” regarding an unspecified part from a third-party supplier. Harley-Davidson initially estimated the stoppage would last two weeks but it eventually lasted 19 days before production resumed on June 6. The actual cause for the delay remained unclear some speculating the issue was related to the powertrains, as the stoppage only affected Harley-Davidson’s gas engine-powered motorcycles and not the electric LiveWires.
