I have for sale a gorgeous 2007 VOLT-Rod (VRSCAW) custom. It has the black cherry pearl metallic paint in terrific condition, 1130cc water cooled Porsche designed engine, five gear, belt drive, 240/40R18 rear tire. It has been lowered 1" to a 26" seat height but is easily returnable to stock height. Vance & Hines custom exhaust (sounds deep & throaty withour being too loud/obnoxious), factory luggage rack & backrest (not pictured), factory forward controls (I also have reduced reach pegs if desired), chrome front turn signals relocated to the forks and custom CNC matte black mirrors. Everything not chromed, painted or blacked is highly polished. Also: expensive dealer installed alarm alarm. 18k adult driven miles. five gallon fuel tank. Excitement is building for Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary celebration. In fact, events are already happening worldwide, and starting soon in places like Goa, India and Auckland, New Zealand. In March, the party comes ashore in Florida at Harley’s Daytona Bike Week festivities and the whole shebang culminates in Milwaukee on August 29-31 with a massive blowout that includes a concert, the World’s Largest Bike Night at the H-D Museum, and more.

The guy behind this twin-engined pulsejet motorcycle, Robert 'Bob' Maddox, fascinates me. He's a cabinet maker by trade but is somewhat an expert in the field of pulsejet engineering and has built a whole host of machines powered by the ever so subtle jet engine. This latest bike is dubbed a Harley-Davidson Sportjet, although it has nothing to do with Milwaukee and I'm not sure why H-D made it onto the tank...

A new display in the Harley-Davidson museum in Milwaukee is set to open at the end of this week exhibiting the artwork of the firm's styling chief Willie G Davidson. As well as being the grandson of the original 'Davidson' and in charge of all Harley's styling, it turns out that Willie G is a dab hand with a paintbrush. According to Harley-Davidson, the display will include “idyllic rural landscapes and still life watercolour paintings with strong luminosity and form that hint at time spent in the countryside during 48 years as the pacesetter in motorcycle design.” The firm's museum has also announced other special exhibits planned for later in the year, including “Journey of the Iron Elite: The Evolution of Motorcycle Culture through the Eyes of African-Americans” and “Born to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket” - a 4000-square-foot display dedicated purely to black biker jackets...
