Harley-Davidson Other description

2007 Harley-Davidson FXDWG - Dyna Wide Glide, Low Miles!A CLEAN, LAID-BACK PROFILE THAT SEEMS TO STRETCH FOR MILES.
The Wide Glide was born to defy convention. You may well be looking at the wild child of '70s counterculture. The days when riders flared fenders, raked front ends and bolted on a handlebar of the skyscraping order. A clean, laid-back profile that seems to stretch for miles. The front fork wide, raked and rolling on a 21 inch chrome, laced wheel. The curvy profile of the Fat Bob tank. Standard chrome, laced wheels with 160 mm of asphalt-hungry rear rubber. A vibration-isolated new Twin Cam 96 engine matched to six perfectly spaced gears. Hop in the saddle. Grab the factory ape-hangers. Stretch legs to the forward controls. Ride easy, friend. Heels to the wind.

Harley Unveils Street Line in X Games Ice Racing Exhibition – Video

Thu, 23 Jan 2014

No, you didn’t read that headline wrong. Harley-Davidson will reveal its Street line of motorcycles to the US market at the X Games today with an ice racing exhibition. While exciting, the winter X Games have clearly been lacking one thing – motorcycles – and the Motor Company has joined with ESPN to bring ice racing to mainstream audiences. What could be a better way to introduce the Street 750 to a young, adventure sports-focused market to the Harley line designed by and for them?

Harley-Davidson and an American Hero

Fri, 07 Dec 2012

As motorcyclists, we’re drawn to the freedom two wheels represent; just man, machine and the open road. The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.

Would you pay £160,000 for this?

Thu, 05 Jan 2012

Pretty it may be, but you wouldn't catch me spending £160,000 on this 1915 Harley-Davidson 11-F Twin that's coming up for sale at a Bonhams auction. It's allegedly one of the most sought-after Harleys and has buyers from around the world itching to splash out on it. Not literally, you'd hope.
