2007 Harley-Davidson FLSTF - Softail Fat Boy, Only the name is the same on the revised to the FLSTF Fat Boy, which grows bigger, broader and brighter for 2007. Besides more power, 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission and standard Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI), the Fat Boy gets funkier and flashier with a major upgrade to its already muscular profile. Start at the back with a new 200mm rear tire and extra chopped rear fender. A new two-tone and two-up seat with laced triple bullet tank strap sits behind a traditional Fat Bob fuel tank with new customized graphics matching those on the fenders and laced triple bullet detailed tank strap. The Fat Boy cuts a wide path with a new 17-inch front wheel, chrome front fork nacelle and giant bare knuckle risers and a fat custom internally-wired handlebar. New Harley-Davidson Sportster for India to Use 500cc V-Twin
Thu, 03 Jan 2013When Harley-Davidson first entered the Indian market, The Motor Company decided to import existing models as complete knockdown kits for final assembly in the burgeoning market. Considering the average motorcycle in India has a displacement smaller than 200cc, it was inevitable Harley-Davidson would eventually have to produce a small-displacement model rather than rely on its existing product line which currently lists the 883cc sportsters as its smallest bikes. Despite a denial last May by Harley-Davidson India’s Managing Director Anoop Prakash, it now appears Harley-Davidson is set to announce a new small-displacement model to be produced in India at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo next February.
Harley-Davidson Financial Services to Refund $228,000 in Settlement
Thu, 12 Jun 2014Harley-Davidson Financial Services agreed to reimburse more than 600 customers in Massachusetts a total of $228,000 to resolve a dispute over refunding enrollment fees on loans. Customers receiving financing occasionally pay optional enrollment fees for additional special loan terms. If a customer pays off its financing loan ahead of schedule, they may be entitled to a pro-rated refund on those enrollment fees.
Fundraising Harley Prints By 8-year-old MDA Ambassador On Sale
Tue, 10 Sep 2013MDA Ambassador Reagan Imhoff wanted the artwork she created with Harley-Davidson designer Mathew Hintz to “raise a lot of money for MDA so we can have more scientists to make medicines.” The original drawing of a purple Harley-Davidson Softail Breakout motorcycle brought in $3500 on August 31 at the MDA auction during the 110th Anniversary Celebration. The pair hopes to raise even more with sales of the limited edition, signed prints, available through www.HintzStudios.com. “I’m happy our artwork raised some money, and hope we sell all of the prints!” said Reagan, who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a painful neuromuscular disease.
