2006 Harley-Davidson Street Glide FLHXI, Most Harley motorcycles are modified in some respect and this featured bike has some great accessories, plus awesome standard features for touring. It has a detachable padded passengers back rest and a chrome luggage rack. A fob operated Security System is installed so that you and your Insurance company can have some peace of mind (but a Pit Bull in your garage does a much better job). Its color is Vivid Black and it shines. Its most distinguishing feature is a set of Harley-Davidson heated hand grips. I have these on most of my bikes and they are great to take off the chill at 40 degrees but can be considered mandatory at 7 degrees. A Street Glide is a great mix of practical and efficient with a lot of style. Check out the unique wheels, the cut down windshield and the fairing mounted rear view mirrors. Because of their lowered rear suspension, Street Glides have a very low center of gravity which make the them a very stable bike to ride around town (with lots of space in their lockable/water proof saddle bags for groceries). Harley-Davidson Goes Low for 2015
Tue, 26 Aug 2014Harley-Davidson revealed the new 2015 Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low and Ultra Limited Low, offering what it calls the the lowest seat height of any premium touring motorcycle on the market. Designed with riders 5 feet 7 inches and shorter in mind, the two Low models have a seat height of 25.6 inches from the ground, or 1.7 inches lower than the regular models. The lower seat isn’t the only change to accommodate shorter riders.
Harley-Davidson Adds Twin Cam 96 and 103 Engines to Factory Remanufacturing Program
Tue, 17 Jan 2012Harley-Davidson has added the Twin Cam 96, Twin Cam 103 and 2003-2006 CVO Twin Cam 103 engines to its engine remanufacturing program. The program, which previously accepted 1984 and newer Evolution 1340, Twin Cam 88, Twin Cam 88B and Twin Cam 95 powerplants, takes used engines, rebuilds and repaints them. Customers can take their existing Harley-Davidson motorcycle to a dealer which will remove the engine and send it back to the factory.

Mon, 11 Apr 2022RA975 and RA965S models appear on official Harley-Davidson website Last week, we broke the news confirming Harley-Davidson‘s next Sportster will be equipped with a 975cc version of the liquid-cooled Revolution Max engine, after spotting the model code “RH975” mentioned on an official Harley accessory page. It turns out the next Sportster wasn’t the only new model accidentally leaked by Harley-Davidson. Another accessory product listing, this time for a Pan America locking fuel cap, revealed two more model codes: the RA975 and RA965S.
