2006 Harley-Davidson Street Glide FLHX, 2006 was the first year that Harley-Davidson put a little edge in its Electra Glide series and introduced the "Street Glide" It combined the touring prowess of the 'Glide but with a lot more style. Result: Instant success and lots of sales. This 2006 FLHXI benefits from the upgrade to a True Dual exhaust system by Vance and Hines and a high flow air intake. Simple formula, more air in and more air out = a much better sound and more power! Cruise control was an option in 2006 and this Street Glide has it installed. This is a great option for touring. Your wrist will thank you after about 5 hours on the Super Slab. Another option is a L.E.D. taillight that looks to me to be brighter than the one provided by the Motor Company. Another small addition is a set of Nostalgia hand grips. These are much more comfortable than stock and look a heck of a lot better. Those of you looking at the Internet pictures, be advised that we switched the wind screen from the touring unit you see pictured to an accessory Harley Davidson tinted windscreen that is more in keeping with this bikes style. Fri, 21 May 2010Harley-Davidson opened its first dealer in China in 2005, they now have four dealers operating nationwide (Shanghai, Beijing, Qingdao and Hong Kong). Harley reported that sales had doubled in China last year and plans to open four new dealerships this year (Wenzhou, Xiamen, Dalian and Chengdu). According to Rodney Copes, Harley’s Vice President of international sales, China is the fastest growing market for the American motorcycle manufacture.

We all have our different opinions about the mega pop star but we can all agree that he was larger than life and truly a boy in a mans body, case in point, take a look at the “Speed Demon” video that features Jackson on a bicycle, motorcycle and scooter, sort of… The “Speed Demon” video is available after the jump. Harley-Davidson Museum’s Custom Bike Show Weekend on Labor Day
Fri, 08 Aug 2014Labor Day weekend 2014, the place for Harley-Davidson fans to be is at the Harley-Davidson Museum. Starting Thursday, August 28 at 5:00 PM, the biggest bike night of the riding season kicks off the event-filled weekend. The holiday gathering will also include two custom bike shows, a women’s ride, displays of the 2015 Harley-Davidson Models, and the last chance to see the H-D Museum’s summer show entitled The American Road.
