There s also a Badlander seat, low-rise bar and wheel-to-wheel chrome. Plenty of looks with an equal serving of performance. You get a powerful, rigid-mounted, counterbalanced Twin Cam 88B engine. The rest is up to you and the endless miles of pavement that lie ahead.FXSTS/I Springer Softail Model Overview A new, wide bobtail fender covers a fat, 200mm rear tire that gives the FXST/I Softail Standard an imposing new attitude. It's a long, raked custom look that inspires customization among Softail Standard owners. This is the elemental Softail, with simple styling and clean lines that make the FXST/I the ultimate starting point for personalization. A Chrome Aluminum Profile Laced front wheel and Forged Polished Aluminum Disc rear wheel are available as factory-installed options.

Harley-Davidson Museum Announces Black Leather Jacket Exhibit
Thu, 09 Feb 2012The Harley-Davidson Museum is opening a new exhibit dedicated to an iconic piece of motorcycle culture: the black leather jacket. The “Worn to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket“ exhibit will showcase the ubiquitous article from many riders’ wardrobe.The exhibit includes over 100 artifacts including jackets designed by fashion houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Gianni Versace, as well as jackets worn by celebrities such as Elvis Presley. “The leather jacket symbolizes different things for each person who wears it, whether they are a motorcyclist, celebrity or a top designer,” says Bill Davidson, vice president of the Harley-Davidson Museum.
2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters Receive ABS and Keyless Security Options
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson revealed a five-model Sportster lineup for 2014 with some minor updates including new options for ABS and the H-D Smart Security System. The 2014 Sportster line consists of the 883cc SuperLow and Iron 883 and the 1200cc Forty-Eight, Seventy-Two and 1200 Custom. All five models received new brakes, with larger 300mm front rotors replacing the old 292mm discs.
