Harley-Davidson has been preparing for its 110th anniversary party for the past year, celebrating in 11 countries on six different continents. In the past year, Harley-Davidson employees, dealers and riders have shared thousands of amazing experiences, including a ride through the Tibetan Plateau in China, a parade along the beaches of Sao Paulo and even a Papal blessing. The new 2012 Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two is expected to be announced at the company’s winter dealer meeting next month, and it may not be alone. Newly released documents from the CARB reveal the Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two among the company’s 1200cc Sportster offerings alongside the Forty-Eight, 1200 Custom and Nightster.

NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool

The U.S. Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have launched a new free online tool that should make it easier for consumers to inspect their vehicles’ safety recall histories. The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.
