Harley-Davidson Other description

2006 Harley-Davidson FLHRCI Road King Classic, Real Pride of Ownership on this Gorgeous FLHRI!!! - You can tell this Harley has been loved from the start and is stunning in Vivid Black with Blue Accents. The color really makes the Chrome stand out and there's lots of it. The Deluxe seat makes for a comfortable ride for one up or two. It even has the large backrest and the Chrome luggage rack at the rear. If you look closely you'll see the custom S & S Air cleaner, a set of front and rear chrome crash guards, a lightly smoked, convertable windshield with tool bag and chrome fender trim. If you've been looking for an especially clean Road King, you just found it here. Why not claim it before someone else does. As anyone who’s ridden one will tell you, a Harley-Davidson touring rig always makes the road good. This year, it makes the road even better. All models get a reduced-effort clutch, a 50-amp charging system and more passenger room. And for the first time ever, H-D custom paint is available on select touring bikes. Stunning new color combos are sure to treat the eyes right. For 2006, the ears are in for a special treat, too. So what’s holding you back? There’s an entire continent out there waiting to be explored. As you’re filling the tank to your Road King Classic, an admirer moseys up. "She’s a beauty" is all he can manage. You invite him for a closer look. First the Bike steals his attention. Then he notices the factory bags, cast aluminum wheels, detachable windshield, big chrome headlight and nacelle. You notice his eyes grow two sizes so you mention the EFI Twin Cam 88 and refined chassis. He steps back, content with his little taste of freedom. You ride off, no doubt to fuel another dream at the next pump. For a limited time, we are offering one-of-a kind, custom color combinations that are over and above the standard two-tone color options available during the model year. These limited color combinations come with a custom decal that is only available through the Custom Color program. Each color has unique complementing pinstripes.

Harley-Davidson Breakout Recall Caused by Fuel Tank Angle

Fri, 25 Apr 2014

An official recall announcement by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration sheds some light on the cause of a recall campaign on 2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout and CVO Breakout models. We wrote about the recall last week, after campaigns were initiated in Canada and Australia to address a problem with the fuel sensors not properly reading the correct volume of fuel. We now know the problem is caused by the angle of the fuel tank.
