Harley-Davidson Other description
2005 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy , THIS BIKE IS LIKE NO OTHER, DRIPPING IN CHROME AND A SCREAMING EAGLE ENGINE YOUR GUARUNTEED TO BREAK NECKS DOWN THE ROAD! It's no secret some of the finest custom bikes in the land are built right here at the Motor Company. H-D Styling goes to work with the Custom Vehicle Operations group, taking the world's best bikes to the extreme. What results are limited-production machines with style and power that are anything but limited. Take a look at the latest project. You can't miss it. We stroked the already ample middle of the Fat Boy up to 103 perfectly counterbalanced cubic inches. But why stop there? This ride got plenty of flash to go with the dash. Chrome by the truckload. Notice the custom seat. This Fat Boy has buns of steel. And as a first from H-D's Custom Paint Shop, the rest of the metalwork gets paint with metal grind accents. It's a look you have to see to believe. Pure custom style, straight from the crate. $15,995.00 3615757881

Twin-engine pulsejet motorcycle. As you do..
Mon, 21 Feb 2011The guy behind this twin-engined pulsejet motorcycle, Robert 'Bob' Maddox, fascinates me. He's a cabinet maker by trade but is somewhat an expert in the field of pulsejet engineering and has built a whole host of machines powered by the ever so subtle jet engine. This latest bike is dubbed a Harley-Davidson Sportjet, although it has nothing to do with Milwaukee and I'm not sure why H-D made it onto the tank...
Harley-Davidson and an American Hero
Fri, 07 Dec 2012As motorcyclists, we’re drawn to the freedom two wheels represent; just man, machine and the open road. The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.
Harley-Davidson Helps Beat Winter Blues
Mon, 02 Feb 2009Feeling trapped within the crippling grasp of winter? The Harley-Davidson Museum is helping to warm things up with Winter Chillabration, running now until the end of February. One of the many highlights is the giant XR1200 Harley-Davidson Sportster that has been hand-carved from ice and snow by the USA Snow Sculpting Team, on the corner of 5th and Canal Streets.
