2004 Harley-Davidson FXDL - Dyna Glide Low Rider, Ask anyone in the know to define a Harley and youll undoubtedly hear the words long and low. The Low Rider has always pushed that envelope. This year, it gets 49mm forks, new stylized low-profile suspension and cast wheels. The low-slung custom seat is less than 26" high, so its easy to put boots on pavement. The ride feels good thanks to pullback handlebars, mid-mount controls and highway pegs. New handlebar-mounted indicator lights, new tank graphic and tank-mounted speedo/tach. The Low Rider also gets the new 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission mated to the powerful Twin Cam 88 engine. Thu, 10 Jun 2010Canadian publication Cycle Canada had some fun on a photoshoot for its review of the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight for the July issue. As Pete wrote in our own review, the Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight has a rugged, bobber-inspired look with its chopped fender, chubby front tire and underslung mirrors. For the guys over at Cycle Canada, the Forty-Eight conjured up a rather odd image: roller derby.
Harley-Davidson Invites Fan On Red Carpet At Captain America Premiere
Mon, 17 Mar 2014Harley-Davidson and Marvel surprised fans at the premiere of Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier in Hollywood, by inviting them onto the red carpet after it closed. Fans at the event were spontaneously selected to walk and experience the official red carpet and to check out a brand new Street 750 motorcycle along with the stars of the film, who autographed the bike for charity. The Winter Soldier star Chris Evans signs a new Harley-Davidson Street 750 at the premiere in Hollywood, CA. Following the premiere, Harley-Davidson will donate the bike to Concord Youth Theatre. In its continued partnership with Marvel Comics, Harley-Davidson had six motorcycles at the premiere along the red carpet, where fans took pictures and interacted with actor and musician, Tyler Posey, the official Harley-Davidson commentator and host.
