2004 Harley-Davidson FLHR/FLHRI Road King, . - Gleaming here before you is the Road King. A machine that inherits its style from a day when pumps dinged, and uniformed attendants rushed to your service. Note the strong lines. Meaty fenders. Giant chrome headlight and nacelle. But this isn’t a machine that’ll make you misty-eyed for the past. Look beyond the thick chrome and there lies some advanced performance. Front and center, you’ll find a Twin Cam 88 engine, with carb or EFI. Isolation-mounted, it’s good for as many miles you want to tack on. You get a refined chassis that makes the ride top-notch. Harley does however really seem to reinforce the stereotype of a typical Harley rider, I’m not sure if I am cool enough but the new Sportster Forty-Eight looks great! Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame Announces 2013 Induction Class
Wed, 27 Feb 2013The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame announced it will induct five new members for 2013. The Hall also announced it will add one new member to its Freedom Fighters Hall of Fame. For 2013, the Hall will welcome to its ranks motorcycle attorney Russ Brown, custom chopper builder Rick Fairless (pictured above), Harley-Davidson dealer Bill Gikling, actor Marjoe Gortner of the television special “Sturgis: The Great Ride”, and antique motorcycle expert Lonnie Isam, Sr.
