2003 Harley-Davidson Road King FLHR, This is a Centennial Edition Road King. As a One Hundred Year anniversary bike, it is on it's way to being a collectors item. Bike is in very good condition and is garage parked. Color is a medium Blue that has shades of Gray on cloudy days or after dark. Bike has factory hard saddle bags and a windscreen that has a deep blue tint on the lower portion with quick removal clips for free air riding. This bike also has a drivers backrest with great lumbar support for those longer rides. Tires are newer and have plenty of tread remaining. Bike has a loud pipe kit and carb jet kit installed. If you want to set it back to original - the factory pipes and jets are included. Previous owner installed some Skull based accessories (such and the fuel shutoff knob and the air cleaner cover retainer nut). Don't like skulls? I have a box of the original parts! 2012-2013 Harley-Davidson VRSCDX Night Rod Special Recalled for Loose License Plate Bracket
Thu, 25 Oct 2012Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall on all Night Rod Special models from 2012 and some from 2013 because of a potentially loose license plate bracket. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the mounting screws connecting the VRSDCDX‘s license plate bracket to the tail may loosen, potentially causing the plate to rub against the rear tire. This may cause the plate bracket to rotate as well as damage rear brake lines.
2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout Recalled for Faulty Fuel Indicators
Thu, 17 Apr 2014Harley-Davidson is recalling 2013-2014 Breakout models, including CVO versions, because the fuel level indication system may not be properly reading the correct amounts of fuel. As of this publishing, recalls have been announced by government agencies in Australia and Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not yet posted a recall but U.S.-based members of the Harley-DavidsonForums.com report American dealerships have already started receiving recall bulletins. According to a recall announcement by Transport Canada, some Breakout and CVO Breakout models may run out of fuel despite the fuel and range indicators indicating there is still enough fuel in the tank.
