And if all those years prove anything, it's that rightness doesn't go out of style. The kind of rightness we're talking about is long, low and raked. And there's plenty of that here. A 32° raked fork, pullback risers, low-rise bar, lowered suspension and a seat that puts you just 25” from pavement. All that custom style deserved some Anniversary treatment, 3-D tank cloisonné, and 100TH engine covers and seat emblem. You also get forward controls added to this bike. Four-piston caliper brakes. A 150mm rear tire. And a meaty Twin Cam 88 engine, stamped with the mark of the century. Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India

Fri, 18 May 2012

India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.
