CUSTOM HEAD LIGHT AND TURN SIGNALS TOO. THE GAS TANK IS A 4.5 GALLON STRECHED AND MOLDED UNIT WITH BLACK BASE COAT CLEAR COAT PAINT WITH FADED GREY TO SILVER FLAMES. THE REST OF THE PAINT IS HARLEY ORIGINAL GLOSS BLACK/CLEAR COAT. REAR SUSPENTION IS PROGRESSIVE SUSPENTION 10 1/2 CHROME SHOCKS FOR A VERY LOW SEAT HIGHT. WITH THE SUSPENTION UPGRADES FRONT AND BACK, THIS RIDES AND HANDLES MUCH BETTER THAN A TYPICLE SPORTY. Harley-Davidson Expands H-D1 Bike Builder Tool for All Non-CVO Models
Fri, 08 Jun 2012Harley-Davidson has expanded its online H-D1 Bike Builder customization tool to include more models from its current lineup. The H-D1 Bike Builder allows users to customize motorcycles with parts from Harley-Davidson‘s catalog. The tool was previously only available for Sportster 1200 models but Harley-Davidson has add all of its models except for the high-end Custom Vehicle Operations line.
Harley-Davidson Suspends All Vehicle Production for Two Weeks
Thu, 19 May 2022Harley-Davidson announced it is pausing assembly and shipments of all motorcycles for a two-week period due to a problem with a component from a third-party supplier. Production halted as of May 18, the day after Harley-Davidson was notified about the problem by the supplier. The official statement was brief, and offered very little in the way of detail.
Harley Recalls 25,000 2014 Touring Models
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Harley-Davidson is acting quickly to address potential safety issues by voluntarily recalling certain 2014 Touring motorcycles equipped with a hydraulic clutch system that may pose a safety issue for riders and/or passengers. The recalls include a Do Not Ride notice to owners and a Do Not Deliver notice to Harley-Davidson dealers until the motorcycle is fixed. “The safety of our customers is our highest priority,” said Tony Wilcox, Harley-Davidson General Manager of Motorcycle New Product Delivery.
