Harley-Davidson Other description
2001 Harley-Davidson Wide Glide , This is a 2001 Harley Davidson Dyna Wide Glide. I am the second owner of this bike and have only had it for about 5 months. I am moving due to work and that is the reason for selling. This is a great bike and a pleasure to ride! The bike currently ONLY has 17,900 miles on it. However, it is my primary means of transportation right now so that will increase slightly. The engine is sound with no knocks or pings . I only use 91 octane fuel and have never had a problem. It is a carbureted engine, however, and it needs time to warm up. I routinely let the bike warm up for about 10 minutes before riding and have never had a problem. I routinely wipe down the bike at least twice a week with a polish/cleaner. It is kept in a garage at home and when I clean the chrome I use Blue Magic polish that leaves a thin silicone layer for protection against rust and the elements. This bike does have some minor scratches but most of them are on the bottom of the everything and not very noticeable unless you're looking for them. It is a 2001 and it isn't perfect, however, it has very low miles, sound/throaty engine, and any imperfections it does have will be easily fixed with minimal effort. The best way to reach me is via email. However, if you want to get in touch over the phone via text/call my number is (440) 396-6196. I am available during the evenings during the week and if I don't answer, text me or leave a message and I will return your call. $7,900.00 4403966196

The 2022 Harley-Davidson Icons Model May Be the Low Rider El Diablo
Tue, 22 Feb 2022The devil is in the details Earlier this year, Harley-Davidson revealed a new Low Rider ST featuring a FXRT-inspired fairing. Initial reaction to the Low Rider ST was very positive, with Jochen Zeitz, Harley-Davidson chief executive officer, claiming in Harley-Davidson’s Q4 earnings call “demand was so high for this bike that we sold out our first consumer allocation in 10 minutes.” While the retro fairing might not appeal to everyone, one other critique about the FXLRST (and a few other bikes in the 2022 lineup) is the rather drab selection of colors: Vivid Black and Gunship Gray. If you’re looking for a more vibrant Low Rider ST, you may want to wait a bit longer, as Harley-Davidson will be introducing a new variant to be called the “Low Rider El Diablo.” The name appears in vehicle emissions certification from the U.S.
Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary Party Is Just A Week Away
Fri, 23 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson has been preparing for its 110th anniversary party for the past year, celebrating in 11 countries on six different continents. In the past year, Harley-Davidson employees, dealers and riders have shared thousands of amazing experiences, including a ride through the Tibetan Plateau in China, a parade along the beaches of Sao Paulo and even a Papal blessing. But now the party is coming home to Milwaukee over Labor Day weekend, which promises to be the biggest celebration of them all. Milwaukee residents have always been cordial hosts for Harley-Davidson enthusiasts who make the journey to the City of Festivals from around the world. One Anniversary tradition is the welcoming home of thousands of riders by Milwaukee area residents who stand on the city’s highway overpasses with homemade welcome signs as riders arrive in Milwaukee.
Harley-Davidson Adds Twin Cam 96 and 103 Engines to Factory Remanufacturing Program
Tue, 17 Jan 2012Harley-Davidson has added the Twin Cam 96, Twin Cam 103 and 2003-2006 CVO Twin Cam 103 engines to its engine remanufacturing program. The program, which previously accepted 1984 and newer Evolution 1340, Twin Cam 88, Twin Cam 88B and Twin Cam 95 powerplants, takes used engines, rebuilds and repaints them. Customers can take their existing Harley-Davidson motorcycle to a dealer which will remove the engine and send it back to the factory.
