Harley-Davidson Other description
2001 Harley-Davidson FLHTC/FLHTCI Electra Glide Classic, THAT'S RIGHT CARB "O" RATED - How’s this for a profile? If it doesn’t whet your appetite for chasing after some long-lost paradise, nothing will. Even better, the new Twin Cam 88 engine makes this the strongest Electra Glide Classic H-D has ever built. It’s dressed for long miles, with a fairing, saddlebags and Tour-Pak luggage box (with room for two full-face helmets). Yet nothing steals your view of the new Big Twin, resplendent in chrome and wrinkle black. In the fairing is our premium 40-watt-per-channel sound system. Plus you get a choice of fuel injection or a 40mm constant velocity carb. A long-lost paradise may not be so easy to find. Then again, in the seat of this bike you won’t mind if it takes forever.

Twin-engine pulsejet motorcycle. As you do..
Mon, 21 Feb 2011The guy behind this twin-engined pulsejet motorcycle, Robert 'Bob' Maddox, fascinates me. He's a cabinet maker by trade but is somewhat an expert in the field of pulsejet engineering and has built a whole host of machines powered by the ever so subtle jet engine. This latest bike is dubbed a Harley-Davidson Sportjet, although it has nothing to do with Milwaukee and I'm not sure why H-D made it onto the tank...
