Harley-Davidson Other description

2000 Harley-Davidson XLH Sportster 1200, Pipes, Chrome Controls, Nice Bike! - If a Sportster is good, then a lot of Sportster has to be even better. And there is no doubt, the 1200 Evolution engine makes this a lot of Sportster. Twist the right handgrip and your progress forward is immediate and awe-inspiring. If it were to stop there, most riders would be satisfied. But the 1200 also gives you the style that made the Sportster famous. The narrow 3.3 gallon fuel tank. A classic buckhorn handlebar with tach and speedo. A stepped two-up seat with grab strap, which converts to solo to give the 1200 a clean look. That is, if you ever hold still long enough for anyone to see.

Fundraising Harley Prints By 8-year-old MDA Ambassador On Sale

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

MDA Ambassador Reagan Imhoff wanted the artwork she created with Harley-Davidson designer Mathew Hintz to “raise a lot of money for MDA so we can have more scientists to make medicines.” The original drawing of a purple Harley-Davidson Softail Breakout motorcycle brought in $3500 on August 31 at the MDA auction during the 110th Anniversary Celebration. The pair hopes to raise even more with sales of the limited edition, signed prints, available through www.HintzStudios.com. “I’m happy our artwork raised some money, and hope we sell all of the prints!” said Reagan, who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a painful neuromuscular disease.

Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed

Thu, 04 Aug 2011

The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.
