Are You an Expert on Electric Vehicles? Come Work on Harley-Davidson’s Project LiveWire

Harley-Davidson is on a bit of a hiring spree following its Project LiveWire announcement, posting several new engineering job listings to work on the company’s electric motorcycle. In the week since Harley-Davidson announced Project LiveWire, the Motor Company has posted several open positions on its online job board calling for applicants with a background in electric vehicles and electromechanical engineering. A Man of LOVE

I had a unique opportunity this week to sit down with Oliver Shokouh, the founder of the Love Ride, only days before the 25th anniversary of the purportedly largest one-day rally in the world, kicks-off this coming Sunday, October 26. First and foremost I’m very grateful for Oliver to set aside over half an hour of his precious time so close to the event. Not only does he head-up this massive event, he’s also busy running the very busy and successful Harley-Davidson/Buell of Glendale (California).

2011 AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Champion Chris Fillmore

Chris Fillmore of Oxford, Mich., has won the 2011 AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Championship. Fillmore ended the season on a victorious note, winning the 2011 AMA Pro Road Racing season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The Bruce Rossmeyer/Geico racer finished the season with five wins and eight podium appearances in nine races in the Harley-Davidson XR1200 spec racing series.
