1999 Harley-Davidson Wide Glide , very nice garage kept bike. hasn't been ridden in a year almost. It has been started. It has the Screaming Eagle Exhaust package. Some extra chrome. She rides great and runs great. Comes with quick disconnect windshield, 3 helmets, XL slide jacket (worn twice). Having 3rd child, need a vehicle with room for 3 car seats and just don't have the time to spend enjoying this bikes power and prestige. Its time for someone to use this thing like it should be. I will verify but there is debate about HD's accuracy on the displacement of the 99 FXDWG. it says 1340 but, most agree that it is really 1400... $9,250.00 5023019239

Fri, 19 Dec 2008Every year it seems that newspaper advertisements, radio and TV commercials for Christmas start earlier and earlier. As soon as the sun begins to set on Halloween, department stores begin packing shelves and websites start stocking inventory in preparation for the impending feeding frenzy that will occur for the most commercial of holidays next to valentine’s day. While spending the holiday with family normally keeps me blitzed off eggnog and most of these aforementioned advertisements are enough to make me want to book a cruise for an entire fortnight at the end of December, this one commercial for Harley-Davidson made me laugh.

Fri, 09 Aug 2013For sale on Ebay right now are two original Harley-Davidson Sportsters ridden by legendary stuntman Evel Knievel in the film “Viva Knievel!“ Click here to see the Ebay listing, which ends on Monday, August 12. The first is the “Flying Eagle” Strato-Cycle, which is one of two used in the movie. The bike is complete with full documentation including original sales invoice from Harley-Davidson in 1977, which certified (with matching VIN numbers) and specifies that it was used in the Viva Knievel movie.
