1998 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy , I am selling my 1998 Fatboy. Bike has 54k miles, custom paint, front and rear avon white walls with less than 1000k miles on them, 16 apes, 36 Samson longtail pipes without baffles (bike is loud), spoke wheels, Willie G Mirrors - foot pegs - footboards and screw covers, 80cu in evo, more chrome than you'll ever want to clean, engine guards plus foot pegs, custom seat, passenger back rest, this bike is awesome. Also have a few misc items like leather saddle bags, leather tool pouch and an extra set of pipes (python III) It is a bike that gets ridden so there is some little chips here and there but no major issues. There is also no key for the Harley. Lost it while riding over a year ago. You have to see it to appreciate it. No low ballers and no free rides without cash in hand. Harley-Davidson Suspends All Vehicle Production for Two Weeks
Thu, 19 May 2022Harley-Davidson announced it is pausing assembly and shipments of all motorcycles for a two-week period due to a problem with a component from a third-party supplier. Production halted as of May 18, the day after Harley-Davidson was notified about the problem by the supplier. The official statement was brief, and offered very little in the way of detail.
Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed
Thu, 04 Aug 2011The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.
