1997 Harley-Davidson Super Glide DYNA SPORT, 1997 Harley-Davidson Super Glide DYNA SPORT, ORIGINAL, LOW MILES....5,840.3!!! Yes, that's right....only 5,800 miles! EXCELLENT CONDITION AND AN AMAZING FIND! This bike was just used for leisure rides and tons of fun to ride. I just don't have time to enjoy it, so it sits in my garage. This bike has a stage 2 carburetor kit with Super Trap exhaust pipes, and runs like new! 4-stroke, new saddle bags (never used), extra chrome, new oil gauge, new handle bars for a more comfortable ride as compared to the original buckhorn, custom paint, but has a very small scratch on the tank (barely noticeable). Selling with the bags, plus a small leather bag that attaches to the forks for glasses, wallet, etc., leather vest, trickle charger, and full helmet. Harley-Davidson World Ride Tops 10 Million Miles; Eclipses 2012 Total by 28 Percent
Mon, 01 Jul 2013Motorcycle riders from around the world enthusiastically joined members of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) on June 23 and 24 to shatter last year’s record mileage total for the Harley-Davidson World Ride by collectively logging more than 10 million miles, a 28 percent increase over the 2012 total. Launched in 2008 as HOG’s Million Mile Monday, the annual event was expanded into the two-day Harley-Davidson World Ride in 2012 to give more riders worldwide an opportunity to participate. In 2012, participants logged 7,799,140 miles, but this year as riders celebrated the 110th Anniversary of Harley-Davidson Motor Company and the 30th Anniversary of HOG that culminates this Labor Day weekend in Milwaukee, they blitzed that record by more than 25 percent, tallying an official total of 10,018,231 miles.

Mon, 13 Jan 2014In February, Bohnams auction house in Paris will allow both the Catholic and the Harley faithful to bid on a Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide owned by none other than Pope Francis, himself. Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with “Francesco” at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.
Harley-Davidson Opens Latin America Office in Miami
Thu, 13 Oct 2011Harley-Davidson opened a new regional headquarters in Miami, Fla., to house the company’s Latin America operations. The new Harley-Davidson Latin America headquarters supports the Motor Company’s subsidiaries in Brazil, Mexico and other countries in Central and South America. Harley-Davidson projects international sales to exceed 40% of the company’s revenue by 2014 with the Latin America office a prime area of growth.
