Harley-Davidson Other description
ne 15th street at sw 172nd court 18,000 mis/ by sixteen years=1125 mis a year. I got this bike from Petersen HD North store in Miami with 14,000mis on it. 4,000 mis in 6yrs is 667 mis a year. I bought it in July 2007. It belonged to an Indian reservation police department, all services done and documented by Petersen HD north store. Repainted black, it was white on top & black on bottom. 21 in x 2.15 Ultima front wheel. I customized the saddlebags with remote opening and smoothed the bags, they are original police bags just modified. The lids are not propped up when opened. I put fishtails. The fairing is a legit HD outer fairing from an electra glide, pn is stamped on both fairings, fairings that I modified, I mounted it to a detachable windshield frame, I also have original HD inner fairing and all instruments that go on the inner fairing. I was gonna wire them to existing harness and make them operable. It pops right out. Those aftermarket fairings are WAY OVERPRICED and NOT asthetically pleasing in my opinion. I lowered the rear shocks (aftermarket) Polished front legs and shaved right leg. battery bought earlier in 2013. I got a new clutch cable last week. Clutch was replaced the day I bought it which is also documented. 14 in Vindikta meathook handle bars with 3 in black risers. Handlebar clamp cover needs to be modified for the risers or just take them off. Police bikes back in the day, the heads were shaved down 0.60 in for more compression. The bike responses instantly. I have never broken down. I only really drove it Daytona Bikertoberfest. Those 667 mis a year I mentioned earlier is the round trip distance from Homestead to Daytona and cruising around Daytona. Original handlebar switches. Changed oil & oil filter before every trip to Daytona. yellow fog lamp covers. Sissy pad, original bars, another set of Vindikta bars, RPM gauge. Let me know! Henry

Mon, 03 Jun 2013In addition to all the other goings-on scheduled for Harley-Davidson’s 110th celebration in Rome, Italy, Pirelli and LowRide magazine are teaming up to bring Italian Motor Company enthusiasts even more. During the June 13-16 celebration Pirelli is setting up shop at Lido di Ostia, transforming the Rome Nautical Club in to the Pirelli Clubhouse for this occasion. Guests at the Pirelli Clubhouse can attend tattooing sessions, where images created by Fashion Tattoo Studio will be imprinted on a range of tires. For those who want to try the thrills of driving a racing car through iconic racetracks around the world, the Formula 1 simulator will be available throughout the four-day celebration. Also on show is the new summer collection of Pzero clothing. Pirelli technicians will hold product workshops illustrating the importance of tires on custom motorcycles.
Harley-Davidson Breakout Recall Caused by Fuel Tank Angle
Fri, 25 Apr 2014An official recall announcement by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration sheds some light on the cause of a recall campaign on 2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout and CVO Breakout models. We wrote about the recall last week, after campaigns were initiated in Canada and Australia to address a problem with the fuel sensors not properly reading the correct volume of fuel. We now know the problem is caused by the angle of the fuel tank.
