1985 Harley sportster. 1000cc (88CI) Ironhead. Just over 4000 original miles. Runs pretty good. Sometimes it takes a minute to start since I don't ride it often. Needs blinkers, battery strap, hand grips and the horn put back on. It's rough around the edges but you can either ride it as is or do whatever to it. Needs tags they went out in June but if you buy it and lemme know how much it costed ill take that off the buy price, safety is up to date but I don't have the paperwork anymore so you'll probably have to get a safety. Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care
Tue, 26 Mar 2013A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.
