Harley-Davidson Other description

Selling my custom shovelhead chopper from a Harley 1980 FXE.  Bike handles great and has plenty of power with the 93in Shovelhead and 5 speed behind it.  I have only put about 850 miles on it since completing the build.  This would be a great bike to ride with the great fall weather coming.
I have moved and gotten married in the past year, and just haven't had the time to enjoy the bike as I would want.  The paint still looks great, though this bike has been ridden and has some small chips. It has been parked for the last couple of months, but fired right up and rode around the block when I put some fresh gas in the tank.

Here is a summary of some of the main items on the bike.

93" shovelhead - rebuilt 2011 bored and stroked out to 93" with new crank, rods, pistons, and cylinders
new - 5 speed - electric & kick start trans
new - Belt - primary drive
new - Chain - final drive
new - front end
west coast choppers rear fender customized
Custom made air cleaner
Custom short pipes with baffles
new - handle bars and controls
new - forward controls
new - rotors and calipers
custom paint and sissy bar

Harley-Davdison Museum Opens Tsunami Motorcycle Exhibit

Wed, 24 Oct 2012

From Miyagi Prefecture in Japan to Graham Island in British Columbia, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wis., the motorcycle tossed across the Pacific Ocean by the 2011 Japanese tsunami has landed at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train owned by earthquake and tsunami survivor Ikuo Yokoyama is now on display at the museum as a memorial to those affected by the March 2011 tsunami. The motorcycle will be preserved in the condition it was in when Canadian beachcomber Peter Mark found it inside a cargo box that washed up on Graham Island in May.

A custom Harley-Davidson Street 750

Thu, 29 Jan 2015

This amazing motorcycle was built in just four weeks in a workshop located 300 kilometers south of Harley-Davidson's Indian factory. The project came to life thanks to the efforts of Rajputana Customs and H.-D., which provided Street 750 as a donor. The first upgrade to the bike was a Suzuki GSX-R sport fork with stiffer springs and longer travel.
