FOR SALE 1978 Harley Davidson FLH Shovelhead. This is a 1 of a kind beauty!!! The bike has had a complete frame off restoration approx 5yrs ago. Every nut and bolt was replaced using the best OEM new old stock that was available at the time. The frame was powder coated gloss black. The tins are painted a 1985 Porsche 944 RED. The tank has Harley Davidson hand painted on it not decals. The bike has a new Barnett clutch just installed. The bike runs and rides good. It has current inspection and registration in Texas. 2300 mis since restoration. The engine was also rebuilt using 80 c.i. jugs,making it 1340c.c. I have the factory original 74c.i.jugs that came with the bike. That makes this a true 2A titled bike. I am asking $10,000.00 cash O.B.O. for the bike. Jury Dismisses Suit Against Harley-Davidson Over ABS Indicator
Tue, 20 Dec 2011A Sacramento Superior Court jury has dismissed a lawsuit filed against Harley-Davidson involving a 2009 accident that left one of the plaintiffs with severe brain injuries. Judy Wilson was injured in an April 11, 2009, crash after her husband, Jack, locked the rear wheel of his non-ABS equipped 2008 Harley-Davidson Road Glide. The plaintiffs contended they believed their was equipped with ABS because the instrument panel had an ABS indicator icon and from the salesperson’s sales pitch.
