Harley-Davidson Other description

1976 Harley Flh, Liberty edition, Shovelhead Original -
Electra Glide in Black-
almost original except exhaust and front fender are from a 68 FLH.
fresh paint, runs great.
front seals are new, had the tanks dipped and lined-
I bought it 3 or 4 years ago from a guy who had it 1 month, he bought it from the original owner.
Top end has been done maybe 10 years ago, runs smooth. Nothing else really has been done, shifts and rides nice.

It was spray painted red when I got it (I think that's why he sold it in 1 month)
I had the tanks dipped and lined at a radatior shop, had it painted black. Miles unknown, had a newer speedo on it, I put an original on from another 76 I own. Never layed down.

Thu, 04 Aug 2011

The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.
