Harley-Davidson Other description

PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE DESCRIPTION

1976 Matching Number Fxe nearly All Original bike. Of course it's a Repaint.

Motor is clean, no leaks. There is a small leak from the primary of a few drops after a good ride.

19,040 ORIGINAL Miles it's going up until it sells then I will not ride it until you pick it up or I deliver for you to any of the Local ports or shipping companies.

LOCAL DELIVERY AND ANY PICS AND VIDEO AT FINAL DELIVERY. I can even shoot a cold start video for you there.

This bike runs and rides and stops incredibly, the transmission is smooth but The clutch needs a slight adjustment. I am being very picky here as I figure you will be, the bike is in very good condition. As you can see there are some places with some surface rust on the tank but VERY superficial NO BIG DEAL.

The rear wheel spokes do have some rust so that will want to be dealt with.

As you can see she needs her blinkers she has a blinker button on the hand control missing,

electric start is PERFECT
HI low beams do what they do
Hi low beam indicator light works
Oil pressure indicator light works
Neutral just went out a few days ago.

Could use an oil change

Tires are great if say above 80%

Bike is firm, rides right and tight aside from the clutch needing to be slightly adjusted (it rides just fine) there are no noises. listen to the bike going downhill on the 2 minute drive video it's all there, signature sound and besides that she is quiet.

The bike had not been ridden much and had a little smoke coming from the pipes but after riding her a few hundred miles she does not even puff on start up.

The carb is running rich and with a new carb or some professional adjustments that's all that I can see would be needed to harness all the power she has to push.

If you want to leave the paint, it's. Really clean maybe a small scratch somewhere but I have not really looked too hard because I was just thinking original tank and fenders or Repaint fenders but the paint is very clean high quality paint.

This may be a fast offer so if you want to buy this bike don't delay, I have an apt tomorrow to show the bike and maybe sell it, so, here's your chance, they don't come around this clean with this low of miles not leaking very often.

This is a buy it now or best offer but Please don't waste time with silly offers.

Hill ride so you can hear it riding. 2:02 min

And the owner took out points and installed electronic ignition.

A Man of LOVE

Fri, 24 Oct 2008

I had a unique opportunity this week to sit down with Oliver Shokouh, the founder of the Love Ride, only days before the 25th anniversary of the purportedly largest one-day rally in the world, kicks-off this coming Sunday, October 26. First and foremost I’m very grateful for Oliver to set aside over half an hour of his precious time so close to the event. Not only does he head-up this massive event, he’s also busy running the very busy and successful Harley-Davidson/Buell of Glendale (California).

Forbes Expects Harley-Davidson to Announce Gains for Q3 2011

Mon, 17 Oct 2011

In anticipation of Harley-Davidson announcing its third-quarter performance in 2011 Forbes.com expects Harley will reveal its third straight quarter of sales growth. The article says that financial analysts expect “earnings of $0.76 per share, up 47.4% from the same quarter of last year.” Additionally, an 18.8% gain in revenues is expected. Interestingly, the article refers to Harley’s motorcycles as “luxury items,” and as such sees Harley’s increased sales and profit as a possible harbinger of an improving U.S.
