 1976 HD Custom. Rebuilt 88" Shovelhead motor. Andrews "A" grind cam. Solid lifters, S&S "E" carb. 4 spd Ratchet lid transmission w/HD and Andrews gears, 2.44 1st gear set. Stock frame has been modified with hardtail rear end. Springer front fork is prolly from the 70's, I dont know who made it? It works good and looks good. Has deteriorated gold plated springs. 7/8" handlebars. Tall sissybar works good for strapping stuff to. Bates solo seat on 3" springs. Kickstart only. Open chain drive. Stock clutch. Spool hub front wheel. Points ignition. Hand clutch/foot shift. Has a clear Harley title in my name and a Manufacturers Statement of Origin for the Delkron Engine cases. The title goes with the frame in the Great State of Missouri. Let me know if you have any questions...

FX Networks, the producer of the TV show The Sons of Anarchy, are giving away a 2009 Harley-Davidson FXD Dyna Superglide motorcycle that has been customized by Eagles Nest Harley-Davidson where there will be a special autograph signing with some cast members this Sunday, August 16th between 2pm and 4pm. Built For Speed Art Exhibit To Be Displayed At Sturgis Buffalo Chip

“Built for Speed – Race Inspired Motorcycles and Art” is the title of Michael Lichter’s 14th annual “Motorcycles as Art” exhibition in Sturgis this August, which for the second year in a row, will be jointly curated by Michael and Paul d’Orleans of the Vintagent. ‘Built for Speed’ is sure to impress visitors with a beautiful and thought-provoking display of motorcycles and related art, the race-inspired theme making connections between motorcycle racing and custom bike designs inspired by racers. Each custom bike in ‘Built for Speed’ reflects a branch of racing; Speedway, Flat Track, Drag Racing, Board Track,  Grand Prix, Land Speed Record, and will be displayed beside the racing machines suggesting the origins of each style.

Sturgis Buffalo Chip Student Build Challenge Will Use 2014 Harley-Davidson Street Glide

Next year’s Sturgis Buffalo Chip will once again feature the Student Build Challenge. The bike build project is a collaboration between the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, Sturgis Brown High School, Black Hills Harley-Davidson, Terry Components, Dakota V-Twin and a large group of industry-leading parts sponsors. The program provides the opportunity for Sturgis Brown High School students to learn from leading motorcycle industry professionals in order to create a one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle from a stock Harley-Davidson.
