1975 Harley Davidson Electra Glide FLH with sidecar. I am 2nd owner and have owned since 1996. Unit is original with original Paint and mufflers. Only 8358 Original miles! Motorcycle has been maintained by my friends at Riverside Cylce in Philadelphia for last 16 yrs. Runs fine. Starts good, no smoke, ready to drive. Never been wrecked, but does have scratches and dings here and there from being stored in garages for last 37yrs. Original windshield included. This is an original, unrestored, unmolested bike. Mon, 07 Dec 2009In late November two motorcycle daredevils from opposite sides of the world were fighting to see who would be the first to backflip a Harley Davidson XR1200 motorcycle. Australia’s Kain Saul reached the Promised Land first when he made a successful jump in Sydney on November 27. Harley-Davidson believes Saul’s jump is the first ever successful backflip for any full size street motorcycle.

The Hydra-Glide name celebrates its 75th anniversary, dating back to the first hydraulic fork that was equipped to a Harley-Davidson, replacing the springer front end in 1949, while the “slash” fuel tank design, emblem, classic round air filter cover, two-toned windshield, seat, and cases, are all nods to the 1956 FLH.
