Harley-Davidson Other description
This bike came to me from Southern California via Ebay several years ago. At the time, it was basically engine and frame and wheels. From Ebay, I have purchased the necessary parts to put it together.
It starts and runs easily. It has new tires, new battery, new points and condenser, new wheel bearings, new tail light, NOS speedometer, hand grips, mufflers,
Engine has some upper noise which is likely piston slap. I think it is okay but could be quieter if someone did a upper end rebuild.
I do not have a title. the buyer will have to take my bill of sale to their DMV and apply for a title. The DMV will need about a $100 and will send notification to several neighboring states to see if it would be claimed. The last time it was licensed was in California in about 1976.
My intent was to do a professional paint job, metal polish, and complete restoration but health and money didn't let me. So, Buy it to Restore, use if for parts, Buy it to ride (some TLC required), or whatever. It is an old bike. It is all there. I did not go into the engine other than adjust the valves.
I had listed this bike before but pulled it for various reasons. I had made a mistake in the pricing. I am now satisfied that the add is correct and have no intention of pulling it for any reason. I apologize to anyone who was troubled by my previous action. As long as the reserve is met, it will be sold.
Good luck and enjoy.....

Storm Tears Facade Off Colorado Harley-Davidson Dealership
Tue, 09 Apr 2013A Harley-Davidson dealership in Pueblo, Colo., suffered some serious damage after heavy winds from a spring storm ripped off the wall of the dealership’s second floor. The 34,000 square-foot Outpost Harley-Davidson dealership on I-25 in Pueblo usually features a high front wall that sticks up above the building’s gable roof (see the “before” picture below). The damage occurred early in the morning and it’s not clear at this point if anyone was around when it happened.
