This bike is in great condition with extensive restoration work over the last 7 years. (copies of the repairs done available at time of purchase). It has a new custom paint job, blue with white/light blue ghost flames, tires, electrical, brakes, and carburetor. Runs great and has the original transmission.
Features: Original 1972 FLH Electraglide that includes a parts repair list, all original and replaced parts (see above), schematics, wiring diagram, 1970 Harley Owner Manual, and a CD with pictures (including repair process). Among the original parts included; both saddle bags, original seat, and shield. History: The bike was my fathers. It became deconditioned from >10 years garage storage. I've spent the last 7 years restoring the motorcycle and enjoyed riding it the last 5 years. Mechanical and electrical repairs were done by a certified garage. Shipping and payment: Payment may be made by Paypal, certified cashiers check, and/or cash. Payment must be certified and/or completed prior to motorcycle pick up. The B-day celebration will be followed by a V-Twin Cruise-In on July 13 and punctuated by a summer-long exhibit entitled Arlen Ness: Art on Two Wheels. The July 12th birthday party is open to the public and the $95 ticket price puts you in the company of Arlen and other customizing aristocrats and also includes cocktails and dinner.
Bobby Petrino’s Harley-Davidson Available for Auction – Comes With Baggage
Wed, 09 May 2012A 2007 Harley-Davidson Road King Classic reportedly belonging to former University of Arkansas football coach Bobby Petrino is up for auction. Listed as salvage title, the Harley-Davidson is painted in the school’s colors and features a razorback boar – Arkansas’ mascot – painted on the fuel tank with the words “Hawg Wild”. Sports blog ArkansasaSports360.com reported it can confirm the bike was the one Petrino crashed April 1.
