1972 Harley-Davidson FLH-1200, YOU ARE LOOKING AT A VERY NICE 1972 HARLEY DAVIDSON FLH-1200. THE ODOMETER SHOWS 49,219 MILES ON IT, BUT IT ISN'T THE ORIGINAL ONE SINCE IT'S FROM A POLICE BIKE. AS WITH MOST OLDER BIKES, WE ARE UNSURE OF EXACT MILEAGE. IT IS BLACK WITH CHAMELEON FLAMES IN COLOR AND POWERED BY A 1200CC CARBURETED SHOVELHEAD ENGINE AND 4 SPEED TRANSMISSION. IT HAS AN ELECTRIC STARTER THAT ISN'T WORKING, BUT IT'S EASY TO KICK START. THERE ARE SOME EXTRAS ON THE BIKE WHICH INCLUDE: CUSTOM PAINT, CHROME EXHAUST, S&S CARBURETOR, PM CALIPERS, FRONT END, HEADLIGHT, RISERS, HANDLEBARS, BRAKE/CLUTCH LEVERS, JB MASTER CYLINDER, PASSENGER PEGS, SHIFTER PEDAL, CHAIN SPROCKET, CHAIN COVER, AND DRAG SPECIALTIES SEAT. IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR A '72, AND GET'S A LOT OF ATTENTION. THERE ARE A COUPLE CHIPS AND SOME SMALL SCRATCHES IN THE PAINT. THE CHROME AND ALUMINUM ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SMALL SCRATCHES ON THE PRIMARY AND REAR SHOCKS. THE TIRES HAVE GOOD TREAD LEFT ON THEM. Harley-Davidson Hiring 400 Temporary Workers
Wed, 13 Nov 2013Harley-Davidson is looking for 400 casual workers for its factory in York, Pa., to help with a planned seasonal surge in production. The jobs begin in January 2014 and will run through until the end of May. “When we ramp up production to meet customer demands, it allows us the manufacturing flexibility to build the right bike, the right time for the right person,” Harley-Davidson Spokesperson Bernadette Lauer tells the York Daily Record.
Antiques Roadshow Visits Sturgis Motorcycle Museum
