Original Paint 1968 Harley Davidson, starts instantly & runs great. This is not the leaky nightmare that you hear the brand X guys referring to. It is an original old classic harley anyone would be proud to own & ride regularly. I am the 3rd owner of this bike. It has had a mustang seat installed for easier passenger hauling, & a clear later Harley windshield, no other aftermarket parts. The original seat is included in the sale, as well as, the original windshield, luggage rack & seat post & seat tee mounting. The mufflers on this machine are the original ones & they sound great. It has new tires, brakes & battery. I have 15 motorcycles & am now in my 60's. it is time to send some to others that can enjoy them as much as I have. A $1,000.00 down payment should be made with paypal within 24 hrs after the end of the auction, it is non-refundable. Remainder of payment can be made with certified check in US Dollars from a US bank or by wire transfer, or cash in person. No other forms of payment. Fri, 09 Mar 2012The Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines racing team unveiled its restyled V-Rod drag motorcycles ahead of the first Pro Stock Motorcycle round of the 2012 NHRA Full Drag Racing series. Reigning champion Ed Krawiec and Andrew Hines will compete for the Harley-Davidson team on new V-Rod drag bikes, restyled to more closely resembled the Night Rod Special production model. This marks the first restyling of Harley-Davidson’s NHRA competition bikes since the V-Rod entered the competition in 2002, and comes as The Motor Company celebrates the V-Rod’s 10th anniversary.“The goal was to make the drag racing motorcycles look more like the current production Night Rod Special motorcycle,” says Kris Schoonover, Harley-Davidson racing manager.

Sun, 30 Oct 2022Someone’s not done bitchin’ in the kitchen ’bout Dyna; when H-D dropped the twin-shock classic after 2017, there was more than a little wailing and gnashing of gears. The first Dyna rolled out in 1991 in the form of the FXDB Sturgis, which I think is the one I rode to Sturgis. Ten years ago, Pete and Fonzie rode the FXDC Super Glide.
