Harley-Davidson Other description
You're bidding on an ORIGINAL 1967 Harley Davidson FLH Electraglide. This is an extremely special and hard to find original paint bike. Everything is original! The only items that have been replaced are the tires, battery, fuel line, brake light switch, clutch plates and headlight bulb. That's it! The motor has never been touched. The previous owner bought it in 1980, (because all of his buddies had harleys back then) but instead of riding with it with his friends, he parked it in his garage and that's where it sat covered and untouched for the next 36 years! All of the basic, necessary maintenance has been performed over the last few months to make it run soundly. All of the electrics function properly except the horn. Engine runs beautifully, the valves are a little chattery but my 30+ year certified pro mechanic said it was normal and the bike runs beautifully. This motorcycle is registered, insured and titled in my name. I have put approx 500 miles on this machine. I feel honored to be able to own such a beautiful bike and I told myself I would NEVER sell it, but I also have a beautiful original paint 59, and newer Electraglide and I'm moving across the country and just can't justify keeping them all. The new owner will be one lucky person!
All this being said, this is a 50 year old unrestored motorcycle. It's obviously not perfect, but absolutely exceptional. The Hi-Fi Blue paint is bright and beautiful and it just glows, but there are some small scratches, surface rust coming through on the back side of the front fender and other small imperfections but no dents and no collision damage anywhere. The chrome does have surface rust in areas, it does have some minor oil leaks here and there and the original wiring harness fabric is torn in places. Also included are the original keys, rear tour pack, 8 track stereo and console and the original factory service manual. This is not your average vintage 1967 Electraglide! I have never seen one this original and this nice before and neither have any of my vintage Harley collector friends. No disappointments here. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE ASK BEFORE YOU BID! YOU MUST CONTACT ME WITHIN 24 HOURS OF AUCTIONS END. A $500 PAYPAL DEPSOIT IS DUE IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING AUCTIONS END! THE BALANCE IS DUE IN FULL IN THE FORM OF CASH, WIRE TRANSFER OR CERTIFIED FUNDS ONLY WITHIN 7 DAYS OF AUCTIONS END, NO EXCEPTIONS!!! ALL SHIPPING FEES AND ARRANGEMENTS ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. I WILL STORE THIS MOTORCYCLE FOR UP TO 30 DAYS. THIS MOTORCYCLE IS BEING SOLD AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY. I RESERVE THE RIGHT THIS AUCTION AT ANY TIME. |

Riding events all over the world bring in untold millions of dollars for numerous worthy charities. Keeping with this theme, one hardy Canadian rider is braving the Great White North’s frigid winter temperatures by riding his Harley coast to coast to raise awareness for diabetes, a disease that has seen a rapid explosion of new afflictions.
